A Phoenix Mold Removal Company Left Shared Leads and Reached 25 Jobs a Month
A young mold company with a real technical edge (dry-fog treatment) and no marketing of its own. Referrals were good; the marketplace leads were not.
jobs a month from its own site and ads

average clicks per ad

The challenge
Work came from referrals and a lead marketplace. The marketplace kept sending apartment managers and real estate agents, people who could not approve a remediation job. The website was on Wix, had broken pages, and was not built to rank or convert.
What we did
- Moved the site from Wix to WordPress and rebuilt it around the service and the phone call
- Fixed broken links, 404 errors and confusing navigation found in a technical audit
- Researched keywords and competitors, then launched tightly targeted Google Ads
- Wrote ads for the homeowner who can say yes, and tested them until each one cost less and earned more
- Gave the company a content plan its own writers could follow
The results
In under seven months the company went from no online pipeline to a steady 25 jobs a month from its own website and ads, against a target of 29. Average clicks per ad rose from 110 to 349 while the average cost per click fell from $15.27 to $5.21. New website users rose 502%.
What this means for a mold remediation company
Most mold companies start on referrals and marketplaces, and most hit the same wall: marketplace leads are shared, often unqualified, and stop the day you stop paying. The fix is not glamorous. Repair the site first, write ads for decision-makers, keep cutting the cost per click, and keep the marketplace only until your own pipeline covers it.
